Home State Payroll Services Salary Scales Salary Scales Salary scales define each of the payroll system salary structures (grades and steps) on an annual, bi-weekly, and hourly basis. Salaries are budgeted for the Fiscal Year, and are typically updated in July to reflect Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA's), if approved during legislative session each spring.
