We are dedicated to improving the tax filing process and making it simple, safe, and efficient. This page is designed to share key information to help you navigate the resources and tools that we offer to make filing taxes easier.

An estimated 870,000 Marylanders will be able to use Direct File to file their federal tax returns first and then file their state tax return through a portal built by our partners at Code for America that will transfer key data from your federal to your state return.
